============================Hi all,
I have noticed recently that XP can 'tag' JPEG images
with various bits of information just like the info you
can add to MP3 files. I have a freeware MP3 taggin
program that allows me to tag MP3 files easily and
quickly. Does anyone know if there is a tagging program
for JPEG images? I've done a search and not come up with
much. Also, does anyone know if, when doing a file
search, you can search within the tags?
Thanks for any help.

Right click an image file or a selected group of image files...
From the menu...choose...Properties /
Summary tab / Advanced button.
Under...Description...choose a category and start typing. This info can be searched for and if you open a folder and choose...
View / Details... you can see the info in the right pane.
Search... All files and folders / A word or phrase in the file...
A long list of categories (columns) can be added if you right click the Column bar
and select your choices.
Also you may like the MS Digital Image Suite 2006 Library. A 60 day evaluation
version can be downloaded from the following link:
Unlike the retail version...the trial does not have the ability to create VCDs and does not support RAW files.

Be aware that it's a 109 MB download....
