If you change your screen resolution, it should retain
the new setting. I assume you are clicking...Apply / OK?

Otherwise I don't know the answer...maybe the

thanks John,   this worked.   I  have to do this however, evry time I load

PS3..any way to fix it permanently?  I have a 17" laptop as well, so I am
