Re: Removable Disk E (incorrect function E/not accessible

Hi Yves Alarie, Well can you believe I have finally solved it!!!!!!!! In the
end my floppy drive, cd drive, removable disc were all affected. I went to
symantec web site and told them the problem. They came up with the Nero
burner and Incd on my computer. I have the 5.5 version of nero. When I went
to the nero.com web site, they said there is a problem with the SP2 pack and
Incd. They have a zip folder on there which is a clean up for the Incd. I had
to delete the Incd from my computer and reboot. They then told me to download
the new version. The only thing was the new version was for Nero 6 and up.
Anyway, I didn't download just in case that would be more trouble, and went
back to check things out. " HEY PRESTO" ,everything was working. I know there
must be an awful lot of me's out there still pulling there hair out. This is
a big problem. If you go to Performance and maintenance news group there are
heaps of us with the same problem. How do we tell these people what is
happening. This is my first thread on this site, and I am not sure where to
put this info to let people know that there is a solution. If you can explain
this better than me to the members then go for it. I just want to thank you
for your time with this problem, Cheers from Chel (a very happy member now)
