I don't think I understand what you mean by what you wrote:

When you open My Computer and you open a photo folder, if you look at the
menu on the left, you should see "Picture Tasks" and in under this you
should see Copy to CD.
Are you missing "Picture Tasks" ? or are you missing "Copy to CD" ?
