Here's some info direct from the Picture It! Team:

The RAW file format is part of a larger issue
that we are working on. Every camera manufacturer
has their own RAW format, and each camera
within a certain manufacturer's product line may
have different ways of writing the RAW data.
Unfortunately, Digital Image Suite 10 does not
support RAW data. We are looking into it
moving forward.

Digital Image can open and save pictures
in any of the following formats:

.emf, .gif, .jpg, .pcx, .png, .png+, .tga,
.tif, .bmp.

Digital Image can open pictures saved in
any of the following formats:

.psd, .dxf, .cdr, .fpx, .php, .pcd, .pct, .drw,
.mix, .wmf.
