windows picture and fax viewer

I'm trying to download pictures from internet powerpoint art. My computer
automatically saves pictures in windows picture viewer but whenn I right
click to open the pictures the only nmssg I get in no preview available. I'm
not sure what to do differently. Can anyone help?
