Sorry about my abrupt instructions. I was under the impression that you knew
more about computer stuff. Obviously not. No problem. This is a friendly
site. Here are more detailed instructions and if you need more less us know.
     No problem.
     Image Resizing
its okay , i thought it was like other downloads , you install after downloading, thought i was going daft, i was on pc very late last night trying to figure this out , and i knew it would be something simple , it nearly always is, but so am i on tech matters, anyway late last night i discovered after all that , if i went to windows picture and fax viewer, bring up the pic and right click on it , guess what , theres an option to resize , so now i feel more of a fool, thanks for all the help, i will probably be back soon ,lol

     A. To decrease the size of the file for e-mail, web publishing etc.

Go to this site and download the free Image Resizer. Exe file in one of your
     folder.

     http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

Once in your folder, double click on it to install it. This is it, nothing
to do after you install it. The way to use it is to right click on a photo
(or group of selected photos as described below).

Once installed, you right click on a photo file (or on a group of selected
photo files). When you right click on a photo, a menu will open.

Click on Resize image on the opening menu.

A window will open, select the size you want.

New files will be added in your folder, same name as original file but with
     the word (small) added.

The first time you use it, you may not see Resize image on the opening menu
after you right click on the file or if you see it, it may not work. If so,
     do the following:

Click on Run, click on Start and type the following in the textbox:

     REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL

     and press the Enter key.

Note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI.

Also, you can download a free batch converter from here to resize pictures
     and edit photos:

     http://irfanview.com/

You can also do something else. This may seem complicated but just follow
     the steps.

Go to the Adobe site and download the free Acrobat Reader 6.0. With it will
come Adobe Photoshop Album. If you are new to downloading, follow these
steps so you can keep track of downloaded software applications.

     1. Open your C: drive

     2. Click on File on the top bar and then on New and on the opening list
     click on Folder.

     3. A textbox will open showing "New Folder". Type the following in this
     textbox: DOWNLOADS.

     4. Double click on the new DOWNLOADS folder you just made to open it and
click on File on the top bar and then on New and on the opening list click
on Folder. A textbox will open showing New Folder. Type the following in the
     textbox: Adobe Reader etc

     5. You now have the following: C:\DOWNLOADS\Adobe Reader etc on your hard
     drive

     6. You are now ready to go to the Adobe site here:

     http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

     7. Follow the directions and download. You will be asked to Save the file.
When asked, browse to the C:\DOWNLOADS\Adobe Reader etc folder to select it.
Downloading will proceed and when finished click on the button "Open the
folder". You then double click on the file in this folder to start
installing it. Follow the instructions on the screen.

     8. When finished, your Acrobat reader will be updated to version 6.0 and you
will have a new icon on your desktop for Adobe Photoshop Album Starter
     Edition.

     9. You can now use this to reduce file size and to make albums of photos,
selecting the option of making a PDF album. This last option will let you
take a series of photo files, convert them into an album and the file size
of this album will be very small. Perfect to attach to e-mail.

     10. However, in order to view this PDF album, you need the Adobe Acrobat
     Viewer.

     11. To get it, make a PDF album and e-mail it to yourself. Open the e-mail
and you will be instructed to download this viewer. Download it in the same
C:\DOWNLOADS\Adobe Reader etc folder. Once the file is there, double click
on it to install it. When you send your PDF album to friends, they will
have to do the same thing when receiving an album from you for the first
     time.

     12. There is also another option under "Share" with this software. You can
upload your photos files to a server and from there send e-mail to your
     friend to visit your album.

to install and every time i do this its says installation finished , then it

     thanks for your help
