Hello, I have a new laptop with Window XP installed. I don't don a lot of
work with the computer, other than using web browser and doing emails.
My hard drive is 100GB, and when new I had about 40 GB free.
Last week I realized that the system was slow, and when I checked, I only
had 1 GB free !!! I didn't download anything, I have anti virus and anti
spyware (Windows defender) up to date.
After running disk cleanup I was able to free up almost 35 GB. But
yesterday I was back to 5GB free, and cleanup this time didn't help much.
Do you know what may be going on ? Maybe some tracing active somewhere ?
Any help will be very appreciated.

Re: got this trojan mscmsr.dll - dont know where it came from... ... There are anti virus news groups specifically for this kind of subject matter. ... You say "Anybody else have this trojan?"... All you have supplied is the name of a DLL file....System Restore does NOT backup data files. ... (microsoft.public.windowsxp.general)
