I notice that Youtube have recently done something to the way the Flash
applet opens, and on some computers it reports that you have an outdated
Flash player even when you have the latest. (In fact, Flash 7 will work
anyway if you can get the applet to open) It looks as it they are using some
kind of Javascript code to open the applet instead of the conventional
method.
Maybe not relevant here but thought I'd mention it.
