Recovering deleted files
Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance
I accidentally deleted a folder with some important JPEGs in it. I
emptied the trash. I have since recovered the files. Now they are all
renamed, all start with a $ symbol, and are all the same size (544kb).
When I open them, I get an error message that the file is not
supported. The file's properties all state that they are JPEGS though.
With the jibberish name now, they have also lost the extension in
their name. So I tried adding that, and they still wont open. HELP,
these are very important! Thank YOu!
