Your first mistake would have been easy to fix by rebooting into "safe mode"
and resetting your video resolution...BUT then you seem to have entreed the
BIOS setup routine and god knows what you changed in there....if you can
remember go back in and change it back......if you cannot remember you will
need someone who has knowledge of BIOS setup to look and correct the
mistakes you created. It cannot be done here in this help group the person
needs to see your BIOS and the individual settings.
You could try the Default Bios setting ......which should be listed as an
option...then do an F10 to safe and exit the BIOS.
If that works...good.
if it does not work...time for a shop or a knowledgeable friend.....without
the booze
good luck.............

MY PC HAS CRASHED.................PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME... - New!

Ok, so where do I start, as Im so not sure what I did in the first place.
I will explain as best as I can.
I am not too sure what it is I was doing as I had a few drinks, so I will
try to tell u the best way I possibly can.
I think that I was trying to change the way my screen works, Im not really
sure what I was in but I do know that I pressed a button which I thought
would change the background to blue. It said change to ......(I cant
recall
the first word) and then blue. I pressed what ever it was and my screen
cut
out and the first thing to come up was a blank screen with blue writing in
the middle saying NO SIGNAL. I tried to reboot and had to do so unsafely
as I
didnt have a cursor present or the minimise maximise or exit buttons at
the
top right of the screen werent there. When i rebooted the blank screen
with
Blue writing now said Out of Range. My pc was froze with either message,
no
cursor or way out.
When I tried to restart again I pressed delete (as the pc said to press
delete to skip start up options)and I entered into what I believe was a
way
to change any mistakes made on the whole set up of the pc. Stupid me went
through and made a few changes and truely made matters so much worse. When
I
rebooted the system it started up as if normal and then went to the safety
mode page. Yet again no cursor or way to go into the options it listed,
ie.
(open with saftety mode, open without safety mode).30 seconds were counted
down for me to make an option but yet again I couldnt move....
so when the countdown stops it goes and reboots itself and then goes bak
into the safety mode option counts down and then does exactly the
same.......my keyboard wont let me choose an option as it seems completely
frozen...........
I SO KNOW I SHOULD OF JUST NOT TOUCHED WHEN I DIDNT HAVE A CLUE AS TO WHAT
I
WAS DOING....................Please is there anything I can do to even get
back into the start mode and factory restore???
PLEASE HELP ME...........Im so stupid and I cant afford to take it to the
Pc
shop with christmas only a few days away.....
fingers crossed
a very sad tearful
