The User Profile Hive Cleanup service helps to ensure user sessions are completely terminated when a user logs off. System processes and applications occasionally maintain connections ('hooks') to registry keys in the user profile after a user logs off. In those cases the user session is prevented from completely ending. If that's your problem, UPHClean will probably solve it.

Will this fix my problem? Why won't it run?.

UPHClean forces programs to release their handles to the registry, thus allowing your computer to shut down more quickly.

Now my windows installer doesn't work and I'm having MSI issues. Outlook Express is also a mess. Does UPHClean do anything for this? I downloaded it, but cannot get it to run. Any help?
