Thanks for the suggestion, but I had already tried that.
The final fix was to dump the user's local profile and recreate it....

Right-click is extremely slow only when Network is enabled:

I have a client who connects to his work computer from home via VPN and RDP.
When he is at work and he tried to right-click any file other than an exe,
it takes 1-2 minutes for the pop-up menu to open. I have followed tons of
articles and tips and finally sniffed the packets and found that the work
computer is actually looking for his home computer?!? I searched through
the registry for the IP of the computer and the name and didn't find
either?! Does anyone have any suggestions?
