Questions regarding Windows Genuine Advantage

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

We have a number of PCs that we bought from a company with XP Pro. Since then the company has gone out of business and while updating one of the computers was told that the volume license used was not accepted and we had to pay Microsoft to get a valid license.
Is there any way to test the other computers without using the Internet? None of the other computers is attached to the Internet, working over a WAN. Is there any contact at Microsoft that we can use if these computers are also unacceptable?
We paid the company for the stickers and CDs and received them and some of the other computers we purchased from them have had no problems with authentication.
