Beats me. Maybe it was another application?

But why was it before, all I had to do was follow the wizard & I did not
have to enter any parameters?

Thanks,

If all you do is schedule cleanmgr.exe, Disk Cleanup will open just
waiting for user input. If you set it up to run with cleanmgr
/sagerun:##, it will actually run and clean whatever presets that you
have setup with cleanmgr /sageset:##.

Here are another couple of articles that may be of some help...

Read through all three articles.

Hi:

No, I've never used the command you mentioned. All I've ever done was
follow the automated wizard to schedule tasks. Where do I put the
command you mentioned?

Sincerely,

Hello:

I recently installed NIS 2007 as a free upgrade. Prior to installing,
my task scheduler worked fine. For example, with disk clean up, at
10:00 pm every evening disk clean up would start up & delete files
with no intervention from me. Now, at 10:00, disk clean up shows up
in my task bar. I have to click on it. It appears & brings up a list
of items & prompts me to click OK to delete. I never had to do this
before. I have reset the schedule time, went into services to see if
task scheduler was set to automatic & tested task scheduler by
choosing the calculator.

I even contacted Dell & a tech remotely checked my settings & couldn't
find anything wrong.

Please help.

Sincerely,

John
