the model is dv8315ca...
and I dont know if all the drivers were installed. I assume they were
because I sent it in to the place I bought the laptop to fix it and told
them
to restore it to its original condition as when i bought it (when it was
working properly).

I have a HP AMD Turion ML-34 1.8ghz laptop and everything has been
running top notch until I recieved an error one day saying "Operating
System not found." I decided to reformat and ever since then
everything has been loading slow. It takes a good 25 secs for a
window or a program to load (used to load almost instantly).
I have a 100gb hard drive and 1gb of RAM. I am pretty sure its not a
matter of memory or space because I have way more space and resources
than before I reformatted (had a lot more programs then). I am
running sp2 on fat32.
My guess the HDD is failing but i am not sure. Please help
Not necessarily the HD. Did you install ALL drivers, mobo/chipset, videa,
audio, nic?.....
And don't get them from WinUpdate, get them from HP
Can't give address, as you didn't specify which model......
