Hi, Raul,
You might try deleting the folders at the Cmd.exe prompt.
On the Start-Run line, type CMD.EXE, Then CD\ to put you in the root
directory,
Change to the partition you have the folder in and type:
ATTRIB -S -H -R *.*/s (folder name)
By the way its NTFS (New Technology File System) not NFTS. :-)

I just installed a new (LaCie) 300GB Drive. In all but one respect it works
beautifully.
I partitioned it with one primary and one extended partition. In the
Extended partition, I created 2 logical drives. All of these I formatted
with
NFTS. The primary partition has been made Active.
I already had another hard drive with an NFTS partition (my C Drive from
which I boot), so I mounted the 3 new partitions as 3 sub-directories in
the
Shared Documents Directory residing in the C Drive.
The Hard Drive works fine and I have been able to load and access
material
in this newly installed storage. The problem I have is that, if I decide
to
move or remove something from any of the partitions of this new Hard
Drive,
the contents of folders are easy to move or delete, as the case may be,
but
the folders themselves won't budge. When I right-click on any of these
folders, and then select Properties, I see that it shows up as
"read-only".
If I the click on the "read-only" checkmark the highlight disappears, and
then I can "Apply" that change, selecting the option that applies it to
all
sub-folders. I then click OK and try deleting the folder, with no success,
even if the content is all gone except for subdirectory structure. When I
dlete I get a dialog box saying I can't delete because it is occupied or
open
somewhere else, or whatver, but that is not true. Furthermore if I reopen
the
Properties, I find that, all by itself, it has reverted to "read-only"
status
. Let me add that I am the computer's Administrator and the computer (a
portable) is not part of any external domain. Forlders elsewhere (e.g. in
the
C Drive) don't behave like that. What is going on and how can I correct
it?
