Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Thanks for the info. I now am fully suspecting that the harddrive or controller may be malfunctioning. During install, I was receiving a radio station on the stereo (only 2 feet away from pc). It was the center of my streaming Internet audio service. I relocated the stereo for 24 hrs, as an older pc was also having problems (Dell M200a). the problem was alleviated to some degree, but with severe memory limits, the system runs out of memory easily and stops.
The stereo is now back on the same line, and is used only for Internet audio stream playback, with no problems on the dell system, save from limited memory (~64mb simm).
The original problem was due to interference from the FM into the giga-byte motherboard (ga7zxe), which ran at about 100mhz/133mhz on the memory (radio station on 107.9).
I will stay with the dell until the power supply is replaced, then will retest the home-built system. The stereo will only be used in "line in" mode, as the receiver mode is suspect in this problem.
The data gleaned from msdn as well as win 2k kb does make the HDD/IDE controller a suspect though.

In Romans 1 there are qualities of Unregenerate man listed which describe him in the last days.
Is your quality found on this list??
