xp Home shuts down by itself and has to be reset, sometimes more than once before it will reboot. I have deleted documents, ran the disk defragmenter, and disk clean up, have blew out the dust in and around the fan. Nothing has worked so far. Help!

If you only have 2 GB free, you need to unload at least 3 GB before XP's ...Disk Defragmenter can run - and, you'll find that to be your first best ...Reboot into "Safe Mode". ...
