Re: System cleaning

Hi Shenan...you seem to be a brilliant guru and I'm an old lady
who's probably on the verge of Alzheimer's (not joking here!) but
still am using my computer to keep my mind active and fresh...along
with my graphics work which makes life SO bearable right now!

I need help!

I keep getting a message that my scratch drive is overfull and
needs to have stuff taken out...heck, I can't even FIND my scratch
drive let alone have the expertise to know how to go about removing
or moving files to make enough room to keep using my photodeluxe
program actively. Can you tell me what to do in layman's terms as
much as possible? This is a new computer, I have a fair amount of
memory...or whatever it's called, and was to have had enough to
avoid all of these problems.

Today, I scan-disked and defragged...do those very regularly...I do
have a substantial amount of visual documents, and alot of artistly
work scanned in. I have deleted much of the unecessary photo files,
duplicates, etc., and it will work for a while for me after that,
but then we get right back to the same error message.

Your advice will be greatly appreciated! Sometimes when I try to
duplicate a file in photodeluxe, that program closes itself!
Jeese...what a recalcitrant computer this is!

Below is my computer guts...let me know if I need more of
something...or what I must to to avoid this hassle occuring
whenever I do a heavy amount of digital graphics work...I'm under
warranty for a long time yet, so if it needs to go back for
tweaking, tell me! I paid an arm and a leg for this thing!
