Another item: go to www.sysinternals.com and download Process Explorer. When
unzipped and run you will be presented a list that is a lot different than
what you saw in Services.

On any given day/time, my PC has approx 50 or so processes running. The
User Name varies between SYSTEM, LOCAL SERVICE, NETWORK SERVICE, and my
user name. I'm retrieving this information from the Windows Task
Manager. And because of this, my CPU Usage is typically around
65-95%.
If I do a screen print, could someone help me in determining which ones
I REALLY need and which ones I could change via the services.msc applet
and make those MANUAL?
Speaking of services.msc, if I add up the number of "Started"
processes/services in the STATUS column, there are 57. Should this
number and the task manager number coincide? Or am I comparing apples
to oranges?
Thank you....DrB
