I am trying to make a system backup using the automated
system recovery wizard. I name the file, specify the
location, and press start, but when I press start, I get an
error that says the diskette could not be created. It then
shows the status window and says the backup failed. Here is
the log:
Backup Status
Operation: Backup
Active backup destination: File
Media name: "Local_Disk.bkf created 5/26/2006 at 7:21 PM"
Backup Status
The files for the recovery diskette could not be created. The
operation was aborted.

The operation did not successfully complete.

Any suggestions?
Which version of XP is installed on your computer? If you're
running XP Home Edition you will not be able to run Automated
System Recovery. For that you need the Professional version.
An Error Message Is Displayed When You Attempt to Use the
Automated System Recovery Wizard
