Omg i cant email microsoft because its asking for a code that i cant getquestion
unless the PC boots up (a pin thing)! So I'm going to try posting my
here. When i try and boot my sisters pc(wich is a gatway, newer, with thebellow
windows built in,) it comes up with an blue screen error like this one
to
STOP: c0000218 {Registry File Fallure}
The registry cannot load the hive (file):
\SystemRoot\System32\Config\SOFTWARE
or its log or alternate.
It is corrupt, absent, or not writable.
Beginning dump of physical memory
Physical memory dump complete.
Contact your system administrator or technical support group for further
assistance.
I went to the following link in ( ) and did what it said
(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307545/EN-US/#E0TB0AEAAA)
but the <c:\windows\repair> file doesnt exist so i couldent place the
new/good files in <c:\windows\system32\config\>
I have tried reformating/recovery of the pc once before when it was doing
the same thing (recently) and then installed Avast on the computer! just
make sure there were no viruses. But apparently the problem is stillthere!
(avast.com by the way)100$
PLZ some one help!
Anything would be better than what my next move might be ( paying like
for a nice windows home edition, wiping the drive and then starting over!
