Try Start, Help and Support, Keep your computer up-to-date with
Windows Update.

You can opt for a Custom install. Try downloading and installing
and if it fails look in the Event Viewer logs for Error Reports.

I recently removed SR 2 from my computer to try to fix a problem and now I
have a bigger problem. Microsoft Updates no longer works. I have tried
all the fixes suggested on the web site to make it work to no avail. Any
ideas?
