I am having the same issue with the device monitor not populating
I noticed the problem after i installed a wireless router at my home
office. Afterwards my wireless connections were not showing up on my task
bar. Went to network and I only show my dialup accounts. No lans or wireless.
My lan connection are working fine though.
Went to the device monitor and it will not populate to enable my wireless.
Nothing shows up. Ran the "show" command listed in ms help and it did not
help.
Verified plug and play services running in service menu.
I am not fond of having to edit my registry unless i am sure that is what
needs to happen.

The following shows up under problem devices in
Noted in one of the post that a patch may have caused this. Is this a common
issue that MS knows about and can it be undone?

In the sytem information section the following shows as problem devices
Base System
Device PCI\VEN_104C&DEV_8204&SUBSYS_014E1028&REV_00\4&39A85202&0&0BF0 The
drivers for this device are not installed.
Dell Wireless 1450 Dual Band WLAN Mini-PCI
Card PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4324&SUBSYS_00031028&REV_03\4&39A85202&0&18F0 This
device is disabled.
Universal Serial Bus (USB)
Controller PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_24CD&SUBSYS_014E1028&REV_01\3&61AAA01&0&EF The
drivers for this device are not installed.

I noted the dev manager showed as a problem yesterday but is not there now.

HELP and Thanks
