What CPU, what HDD, what anti-virus, what broadband speed?
Since you say that email and some web pages are slow, I guess your antivirus
anti-whatever slow you down. If it's Norton Anti anything, look no further
:)
Open Windows Task Manager (WTM) and then check your email. In WTM/Processes,
see what process takes 2 digits of CPU time while opening emails.
