I have been having problems with my PC. I run XP I have the SP2, its a Dell
etc etc etc... I play games a lot on my system, That require a lot of
graphics ie Rainbow Six, SWAT, Mech Warriors etc.... Well my system seems to
freeze while I am playing and even has froze solid where the only way to
shutdown is to turn off my power bar. Not even a cold boot from the power
button did the trick.
My system meets all requirements for these games. Do not tell me to check
for spyware/pests or trojans and viruses I have done all that and even did
the online scans, I have over 50% free space. It is a 40 gig HD and I should
say I am a gamer so I have a good video card and sound card. I do not keep
all games loaded on my system at all times whatever game I am into I play the
others get removed until I replay them. I save whatever needs to be saved.
So my question is if I meet all the requirements and there is no "pest" on
my system WHAT can be causing it to run slow and freeze up? Oh I might add it
has started this after I installed SP2
