The "readme.txt" file on the link I gave gives a good explanation of the
problem.
No don't think it's caused by disabling any services.
Seen that warning appear with fresh SP2 installations.
*Possibly* related to the svchost.exe group containing
DCom Server Process Launcher (DComLaunch)
Terminal Services (TermService)
not closing down properly on shutdown with SP2. Others are probably better
able to comment on that though. The UphClean service sorts it out well.
As regards your original problem, did you see any significant reduction in
boot up time after disabling / setting to manual the services I mentioned?
