Disk Cleanup Hanging

I just had to reload WinXP Pro. When I run Disk Cleanup it
hangs. I get 4 bars of progress and then it stops
(running CPU usage up to 99%) and does not cancel from
the icon button. I have to kill it with an end process.

Does anyone know of this problem?
