Disk chk doesnt or shouldnt run in explorer on C: drive,it needs
to run specifically on reboot (as nothing else is running).How or
why it is trying to is self-defeating the utility.Try going to run,type:cmd
in cmd type:CHKDSK C: /F Agree to the restart,then type:EXIT
Restart computer.In cmd you can run:CHKDSK C: However its in a
read only mode,no repairs are made.
