Thanks for the update. As it was, since I have absolutely zero
knowledge of proprietary power management features on laptops,
and did not know what laptop to research, I almost did not reply
to your newsgroup post. With your update I am now more educated
in regards to this subject and the Dell Quickset. Thus, I will
be better equipped to answer similar questions!

BTW, if you ever have any time to spare I (and the Usenet
community), would appreciate it if you would elaborate on your
statement: "Dell Quickset has it one keys, they must be set to.."
