Runtime Error

After bootup I get the following Message:
"Runtime Error!
Program:C:\Program\Microsoft Hardware\Mouse\paint 32.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to termiante
in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more
information".
This error doesn't occur every time, but does frequently.
Usually shows up when I attempt to connect to the
internet. Anybody got any ideas or suggestions?
