'bridge.dll' error related to '.ocx files not registered' errors??

#1 -- Recently, when I boot, I get "Error loading
C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\bridge.dll The
specified module could not be found."

#2 -- I'm wondering if this error is related to another
error I got today when trying to install new software:
"Self-Registration Error

The following files did not self-register or unregister:
   1. C:\WINDOWS\System32\Edt32x30.ocx
         Class not registered
   2. C:\WINDOWS\System32\mem32x30.ocx
         Class not registered"

I searched the Microsoft website for more info re either
of these issues, but to no avail. Any suggestions?
