How about you tell us what you got spybot for in the first place?

I have run Spybot on thousands of different machines from Windows 98SE on up
to Windows XP without any of the issues you are describing. Spybot Search
and Destroy, when gotten from a reliable source, is a great program. It has
NOT removed anything from any compute I have used it on that I did not want
to get rid of (although the customer might insist that "iWon" is valid
corporate material.)

Perhaps if you shared what you oroginally ran Spybot trying to clear up,
whether it was a virus, a worm, a trojan, or any other form of malware - no
matter - what were the specific symptoms that brought you to running Spybot
Search and Destroy?
