I have same problems - but can't even get deep enough
into Win XP to load any of these programs! I get stuck
at the user screen, and won't let me get to 'start' menu.
Gateway tech support recommended formatting hard disk and
reinstalling XP, but don't want to lose files/data.
Any magic bullets out there?
