Yes, you may get 3.0 at 3:47 A.M. when no one else is on line. What are
your download speeds at 6 P.M.? Why are you paying for bandwidth that you
are not getting? Cable is shared node access, while DSL is dedicated
bandwidth. Using cable is like buying gasoline that only delivers
acceptable mpg at other than rush hour. Base DSL is usually 384 or 768,
depending upon your provider. I am getting the platinum level here in
Hawaii, getting 3 GB 24/7, and I pay $1 less than the comparable RoadRunner
service. Cable is for those who don't know any better.
