I just added 256 Meg RAM to a Win XP Pentium 4 computer.
It initially came with 128 Meg RAM, and was running XP
slowly. No question the extra RAM has helped things a lot.
My question is what system settings should I look into
changing with the extra RAM. How should pagefile.sys
be set. Would more RAM significantly improve the
system performance.

Any and all suggestions for tuning this system up further
are sincerely welcome. The extra RAM has definitely
helped. I want this system to really perform at its maximum
capability.
