You have the typical symptoms of a virus or spyware. Or both.
No amount of software will protect your computer so long as you do not adopt
safe practices while on the Internet.
If you adopt safe practices while on the Internet, and your security
software is correctly setup and maintained, the chances of being infected
are next to zero.
