boot problem and Quik Shield Software

WXPH running on VAIO desktop machine. Used MSCONFIG to
remove free trial software called Quik Shield (pop-up
blocker) that had expired, from start-up in system
configuration utility. Rebooted. Windows will not reboot
in any mode. Any ideas greatly appreciated.
