Wow. I did not know that AOL was such a memory/processor hog!
It is (however) releasing the memory afterwards according to those pictures.

Now that we got that, do this:

Same window, but "Processor" tab.
With AOL running, sort the processes by "CPU" -> screenshot.
With AOL running, sort the processes by "Memory" - screenshot.
Then the same two sorts after closing AOL.

This will verify what application is using up all that power - whether it is
AOL or something "fighting" AOL.

I also notice it's AOL 8.0. Does this PC have 9.0 on it as well (can you
even have both on at the same time?)
