Jase,
     you can try checking your hardware in device manager if you can find any exclamation mark on any device listed, if you find that i could be that the device may be having issues.

1. right click on my computer and select properties.
2.click on hardware.
3. select device manager.

let me know abt that if you any problems with any devices installed.
