oooooh, you sceptical thing, you.. lololololoolol

The 'techs' have flowcharts from which they cannot deviate.. if the caller
asks a technical question during the trip through the flow chart, or
attempts to skip a few boxes because they have 'been there before', the
'tech' can become confused.. lol..

I had a connection problem aways back and was passed on to a 'supertech' cos
the first 'tech' to whom I spoke couldn't find his place on the chart after
a couple of minutes with me.. it seemed that I was asking questions not
covered by the basic flowchart.. 'supertech' seemed way more confident and
knowledgeable than 'tech', and after a brief explanation of my problem, we
opened the RUN box, and he told me what to type in there.. after the first
couple of commands were typed in (and very long strings they were too), I
suggested that he might not have all of that committed to memory.. he
replied.. "eeerm, no".. and then he laughed.. I have to add that between the
efforts of 'supertech' and myself, we did sort the problem out.. the only
gripe that I have is that he wouldn't send me a copy of 'superflowchart'..
:)

the computer works without dsL/off the internet first . If everything is
ok you can then try too reinstall the dsl software or take the opportunity
to cancel the DSL---- Bet when you call to cancel everyone is going to be
all sweetness and light and bend over backwards to help you--- remember it's
all about them making your money--their money. They tell me that the
"techs" are'nt really trained too well (they make small cash) and they are
under the gun to get you off the phone to answer the next call in under a
few minutes--- Though I got to say the people at hp stayed with me for over
an hour to correct a problem I had but then again it was 2AM and no one else
was calling
