Thanks, but i don't think the answer to my question is going to be in a FAQ section, i have a look through these sections and can't find the answer im looking for, which is why i resorted to a help group. i thought i might be able to speak to someone who's had the same problem.

..and i thought this group was for Win XP maint? is windows update not maintaining the system both performance and security wise?
