msfw.exe file

Does anyone know what msfw.exe does? This file is running
in my Windows Task Manager Processes Tab and consuming up
to 80% of my CPU capacity. This just started today and
it's slowed my system almost to a halt. Is this a virus
or a Microsoft application? I don't want to delete the
file until I know what it does. Any help?
