Intel PROSet Control Panel applet is displaying the error message.
Workaround:
Download/Install/Run TweakUI
Click "Control Panel"
Uncheck "Intel PROSet" (to hide it)

Hi Sanford,
Resources not available
Please post the complete error message as seen on the display, which always helps. Are you seeing a low disk space notification, per chance?
I try to open Control Panel. A box appears:
Intel(R) PROSet
Resources are not available
!
OK
I press OK, and then the control panel comes up.
Do you mean
prapplet.cpl - PROSetApplet Module
What does unchecking this do?
Well, I unchecked it, and it worked.
The problem happened after I reinstalled Windows after replacing the hard disk. I probably did something wrong with the reinstall and files restore.
Thanks!
Thanks. Question: What does this applet do?
