Hi; ihad writen before , i bought a clone computewr that didnt bring a

wicth is what i have in my computer,
OK, I'm with you so far.
my question is it brought a medium size
chip or hardware as they call it
But I'm lost here. I don't know what you mean. Can you elaborate?
do i have to install this hardware
What hardware?
I suspect the OP has been sold an OEM copy with a chip of some sort as
"qualifying hardware"
Maybe, but I prefer not to guess, and would rather he told us.
Moreover, even if what you say is correct, I would like to know
exactly what it is that he got.

I tried doing it
Tried doing what? Exactly how did you try? Please be very explicit
when you ask for help. If you make us guess what you did, and we guess
wrong, we are likely to give you bad advice.
but it did not let me reformat the drive .
Again, what does "it did not let me" mean. Exactly *how* did you try?
Exactly what happened when you tried? If you got an error message,
please quote it verbatim.
by the way the cd i bought from ebay its called
a holografic cd if that helps. am i doing something
wrong in reformatting my drive ?
Probably, but you first have to tell us what you're doing.
Can you tell me hows it done Thank you for youll help
You still have not answered my first question. You asked "do i have to
install this hardware?" and I replied aski8ng "What hardware?"
I'll be glad to help, but you first have to help me to help you.

Ok i purchased a cd software of windows xp pro from ebay its actually a clean install but with the cd it came a piece of hardware that looks like a memory module for a computer but smaller, the info that came with the package did not say anything about the module or chip, i tried installing the software but the only two options it gives me is install the new software buit there is the other widows xp installed and wont let me the other option is to repair the software installed already but this one is missing to many files so it does not repair it. I guess i need to do a clean sweep of my drive but i dont know how, i dont have the disk to reformat. by the way i believe i dnt need the hardware or chip or do i.
