I think you should go for File and Settings Transfer Wizard.
1. First Log on to the Windows from which you want to transfer the Personal
Settings.
2. Click Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Files and
Settings Transfer Wizard.
3. For the first question in Wizard tell computer that tihs is your "Old
Computer" from which you want to transfer setting.
4. Wizard will ask you for "Transfer Method", choose Other and in the dialog
box browse for a location where you want to save the settings e.g. d:\setting
backup
5. In next question, choose as you desire both files and settings or only
files or only settings or you can choose the custom list option.
6. After that restart your PC and log on to another Windows XP. Here run
Files and Settings Transfer Wizard and tell computer this is a "New Computer"
and follow the wizard.
Hope this help, let us know!
