Have you checked the Fast User Switching Service is running or not? To
check
click Start - Run - type Services.msc and press Enter key. Double-click
the
Service and check it status. if it is not running then click Start button
within and see if this helps.

Let us know!

Control Panel ,
User accounts ,
Change the way users log on and off,
Tick all checkboxes.

hi all!

a little help please! starting yesterday i haven't been able to use
the fast user switching ability whether i try to use the "start-log
off-switch user route" or by pressing the "Win key and the letter
L"....when i press the win key+L, a box appears that says the
computer is locked and only an administrator can unlock it and to
supply a password to open it again....i'm using xp home sp2...

i hope i'm explaining this well....

anyway, thanks in advance to anyone who will be willing to help me!
