Anyway, you seem to know it all. Can you hook me up on the last
questions I posted?

I guess I will download SP2 via the link you listed and save it
to my hard drive. I can copy it to CD, but then what? Is it just
one executable file that I open or is there a way to tell the OS
to browse the cd to update it?

It is an executable that extracts to a whole bunch of stuff. It
can be installed straight from the executable.

Oh, and my bad, after closer inspection... I think this version
of XP PRO is PRE-SP1. All it says is Version 2002 Part #X08-33951.
I guess after I update to SP2 I have to do what? Go to drive
management? Format the unallocated space? I don't want it
partitioned. Is there a way to merge?

Not with Natice Windows XP utilities. Something like Partition
Magic or BootItNG might get the job done.
Personally - if you are not that far into it - I would download SP2,
integrate it into your Windows XP CD with something like
"AutoStreamer" and redo your Windows install. You'll be much
happier for it. =)
Thanks again my friend, I'll put in a good word for you when I talk
to JD.

Anytime. Hope all turns out well.

Wow...
"Natice" is supposed to be "Native" above.

Nice miss on the spellcheck.
