Hi
I have a ViewSonic VG710b monitor which has inbuilt speakers. I tried
to connect the two via a cable yet I could not produce any sound. I
went to the speaker thing in the control panel and the tab which
usually shows configurations for the connected speakers were not
available for me to fiddle with.
Any suggestions? Help appreciated!
Thanks
Jiao

Did you connect a cable from the monitor to your computer?

That of course would be both the VGA or Digital video signal cable AND the
miniphono plug audio cable from sound card to monitor.
